What is italy's problems after the First World War?

Italy had fought on the winning side, but it came out of the war angry and unstable. At the peace settlement it received less territory than it had been promised, and nationalists spoke bitterly of a "mutilated victory". The war had also damaged the economy, leaving unemployment, rising prices and many discontented ex-soldiers. Italy's democratic governments were weak, made up of shifting coalitions that changed often and seemed unable to solve the country's problems.
