What is italy's problems after the war?
Show answer
Although Italy was on the winning side in the First World War, it came out of the war in a sorry state. The war had cost many lives and a great deal of money. Afterwards there was widespread unemployment, prices rose sharply, and many soldiers returned home to find no work. On top of this, many Italians felt cheated by the peace settlement, believing Italy had gained far less land than it had been promised for joining the war.
